Moriyama-Kiln Pasta Bowl

$95.00
sold out

Using the tobikanna or “jumping iron” method, a tool is used to scrape off bits of clay while the bowl is spinning on the potter’s wheel. This is methodically done on the entire exterior of the piece. The glaze applied extenuates this unique characteristic. Each bowl is hand made so the shape is slightly different each time, however they still stack nicely. The oblong shape also makes it quite comfortable to hold in one hand.
